Hi! I am Alex! I take pictures, build and ride bikes, make kites, 3d model
for 3d printing, fold paper, work with wood and various other materials. I have far too
many hobbies to keep up with! This site is an attempt to keep me creating. If you have comments or just want to say hi, please, reach out!

What a great morning for a ride! Met up with my friend, E, and rode over to Lake Shore Drive for the annual
bike the drive event! Both the north and south lanes of the highway
are closed to cars and thousands of bikers take it over! Ride details and a couple pictures on my
biking page. Here is one shot looking north!
Would ya just look at that!

Let's just ignore the massive gap for now. I have been 3d modeling a bit lately and revisited an old idea for a plant pot.
I had the idea for a specific plant, pink panther plant, because of the way it spills over the side towards the light.
Check out the plant-speration! Keep that in mind because the cuttings in the new pot haven't
taken root yet. Literally! Ive been picturing this pot/plant combo in my head for quite a while, I am excited to see how it compares
in real life when the plant grows out. Waddle over to my making page to check out a couple photos. I've been
riding more consistently lately and I want to fill out my biking page. I will have a ride and photo of each
of my bikes eventually! (Mark the date, this site is supposed to hold me accountable)
Still working on consistency.
Goal #1: Stop setting lofty goals.
Goal #2: Stop procrastinating.

Working up to the habit of more updates. A friend of mine checked out the site and has requested more photos; I
will oblige. My image grid is still a little funky but I will figure it out. Trying to balance the sizing for mobile
and desktop is a little tricky. I have a tendency of deleting and re-adding code while debugging; of course I forget
to add some back in! I am adding in some of my favorite film photos that I took over the last year or so. Check out the
photography page. I am
It is a new moon in Aries as of yesterday morning! My intention for this lunar cycle is to focus on spiritual contemplation.
I started an everyday committment to qi gong and this week I will be using
this video! Consistency has never been my strong suit, that is something I will improve upon. Slow and steady!

Hello again! March is coming to a close and I am wondering where a quarter of the year went. I helped K<3 and
H make two pies yesterday in honor of K's late grandmother! She was a baker and a maker in general. Her
home was full of her embroideries and handiwork. I hope to be surrounded by mine and K's doings as we progress
through life. What a beautiful way to live <3. Looking back, I see the lack of documentation and organization of my
works and wish I had been more thorough. So it goes. I can move forward with my intentions and work to make that a
reality in the future!
Today!! I went for a small bike ride in the suburbs on one of my flashiest bikes! I finished a kite made from skewers and
a priority mail envelope... Its flightworthiness remains to be seen..
With that: check out my biking page and my making page!

This site is now live with all its bare spots in plain view! Lately I have been
doodling and drawing with markers, taking care of my plants, finalizing this web layout,
and making a couple of scannergrams! I have been practicing
qigong sporadically, hoping to make that more consistent.
Today's Video. Not my favorite but a few of the moves I really enjoyed.
Click around and explore a little! Intros are a rough draft... more posts to come!!
