Look at my things!

Bikes and biking! I love bikes! I love working on them and riding them and looking at them! My first bike was a blue huffy and after that I got a Dyno VFX(?) BMX bike that was black with lime green decals. So cool! Biking around Beardstown was a staple of my childhood. When I moved to Chicago for college I was enamoured with the biking culture in the city. I dug my dad's old bike frame from my gram's basement and "converted" it to a single speed. This sparked my love of working on bikes! Since then I have built up and repaired many!

Here are some of my bikes! Look! Look!

4.6mi - 1997 Bianchi Campione D'italia

Went for a quick ride today on my Bianchi. I bought this bike during covid and I dont ride it nearly enough. I have always loved the red, white, and blue color scheme. Today I did 4.6 miles while running a couple of errands. This bike is such an eye catcher with the bright red! The campagnolo hubs spin so freely, it feels like I could coast forever. It has an 8 speed campy mirage groupset that came stock with the bike. I replaced the brakes with a vintage set of Modolo "Team" calipers to match the white decals. They dont fit the era (WHO CARES) but I love them!s
